Order Enduring Power of Attorney
An Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA) lets you appoint someone you trust to make decisions on your behalf if you're ever unable to make them yourself; whether that's due to illness, injury, or loss of mental capacity. There are two types: one covering your property and finances, and one covering your personal care and welfare. You can set up one or both.
Without an EPOA in place, your family may need to apply to the Family Court to be appointed as your property manager or welfare guardian; a process that's slower, more expensive, and more stressful than putting the right documents in place now. Most people arrange their EPOAs alongside their will, when buying a first home, when starting a family, or simply as part of getting their affairs in order. It's not just something to think about later in life.
How it works with us:
Complete the form below with your initial details and who you'd like to appoint.
We'll send you a fixed-fee quote (EPOAs start from $400 each) before any work begins.
Once you confirm, we'll prepare an initial draft and come back to you to confirm the full details and instructions.
Once everything's finalised, we'll arrange proper signing to make sure your documents are legally valid.
If you'd rather talk through your requirements with us directly before filling anything in, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
